Enjoy the benefits of a group visit to DickensWorld

Our admission rates for pre-booked and pre-paid groups of 15 or more paying visitors are as follows:

  • £9.75 per adult
  • £9.00 per senior citizen aged 60+
  • £9.00 per student aged 16+ with valid student ID
  • £6.00 per child aged 5 - 15 years inclusive
  • Children 4 years and under are free of charge

Disabled visitors pay the rate appropriate to their age and an essential carer is admitted free of charge.

Coach drivers are admitted free of charge

For school groups 1 adult is admitted free of charge with every 10 children / students

Coach Parking Details

Dickens World is located adjacent to the Historic Dockyard, Chatham. To enter the area, please follow the brown tourist anchor signs positioned on all entry roads to the Medway area.


Approaching from the Medway Tunnel

If approaching through the Medway Tunnel, please ensure you are in the left hand lane and take the left hand exit filter at the end of the tunnel. At the traffic lights on the roundabout, take the 1st exit. At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit again – this is Dock Head Road. Proceed for approximately 500m to the bus stop lay-by.


The bus stop is at the rear of Dickens World – visitors are then required to make the short walk following the building round to the left to the main entrance.


Approaching from A289, Gillingham

Exit the A289 at the Chatham Maritime Exit – use the right hand lane as you approach the traffic lights. At this roundabout, take the 3rd exit – signposted St. Mary’s Island. At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit – this is Dock Head Road. Proceed for approximately 500m to the bus stop lay-by.


The bus stop is at the rear of Dickens World – visitors are then required to make the short walk following the building round to the left to the main entrance.


Parking

There are several coach spaces within the main Dickens World car park – near to the Odeon cinema. Exit the drop off point continuing down Dock Head Road. At the roundabout, take the first exit. At the mini roundabout, take the first exit again. Proceed through the entrance barriers – the coach spaces are on the left hand side.

At busy periods, alternative coach parking can be found at the Historic Dockyard, Chatham.
